  1. Prioritise Progressive Overload

Muscle grows when it’s consistently challenged beyond it’s current capacity. Aim to gradually increase the demands on your muscles over time — whether that means adding weight, sets, reps, or improving time under tension and increased control of the movement.

2. Train With Consistency

Results come from showing up and doing the work. Building muscle is a long term game, and consistency is the compounding factor that separates those who succeed from those who don’t.

3. Master Exercise Technique

Perfect reps over more reps. Good technique ensures you’re targeting the right muscles, reduces injury risk, and allows you to train with intensity and control.

4. Eat Optimal Protein

Protein provides the building blocks for muscle repair and growth. Aim for 1.6-2.4 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight daily, spread across your meals.

5. Respect Recovery

Growth happens outside the gym. Sleep, stress management and rest days are essential for alowing your muscles and nervous system to recover, adapt and come back stronger.

Building muscle is both a science and an art. Follow these seven laws, stay consistent and trust the process. Your future self will thank you.

6. Use Deloads Strategically

Pushing hard is important, but so is stepping back. Deloads help prevent burnout, reduce injury risk, and set the stage for long-term progress.

7. Be Patient & Play The Long Game

Muscle isn’t built overnight. Focus on the process, trust the plan and stay committed. The results will come– and they’ll last.

Stay ahead.
