Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 2x 120g turkey steaks
  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 150g green beans
  • 100g baby spinach
  • 40g white mushrooms
  • 10ml olive oil
  • 15g butter
  • ½ tsp Chinese 5 spice
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • Splash balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt & Pepper

Directions

  1. Peel the sweet potato, cut into cubes and boil for 10 minutes or so
  2. Meanwhile, heat the butter in a frying pan over medium heat
  3. Pop the seasoning, 5 spice, cayenne pepper and balsamic vinegar in a bowl and mix
  4. Apply the sauce onto the steaks with a brush then chuck into the frying pan, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side
  5. Steam the green beans and spinach for 3-5 minutes or until cooked
  6. Once the sweet potato is cooked add some seasoning and olive oil
  7. Serve and enjoy!
