Chorizo & Chilli Burgers with a Beet & Feta Salad
Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 500g beef mince 10%
- 80g chorizo diced
- 1 red onion finely diced
- 2 red chilli’s finely diced
- 2tsp paprika
- 3 cloves garlic finely diced
- 1 large egg
- Salt & Pepper
- 400g Packet beetroot
- ½ cucumber
- 200g cherry tomato’s
- 150g feta cheese cubed
- 2dsp crème fraiche
- 10ml extra virgin olive oil
Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 500g beef mince 10%
- 80g chorizo diced

- 400g Packet beetroot
- ½ cucumber
- 200g cherry tomato’s
- 150g feta cheese cubed
- 2dsp crème fraiche
- 10ml extra virgin olive oil
Directions
- Add the minced beef, chorizo, red onion, chilli, garlic, egg, salt, pepper and paprika to a large mixing bowl, mixing together well with the hands.
- Divide the mixture into equal patties (should get 6 good sized ones) and place onto a grill tray
- Stick them into the grill and cook until cooked through (cut one in half to check), roughly 4-5 minutes each side (depends on height of grill)
- Meanwhile, mix the diced beetroot, cucumber, tomato’s, feta, crème fraiche and olive oil together
- Serve the patties alongside the salad
